CYC Registration Update

June 14, 2010
Registrations for the 2010 CYC Summer Program are now officially CLOSED

Thank you to all that took the time to send in your forms – we received nearly 500!

Though, as mentioned before we only have 252 spaces in this year’s program.  We tried our very best to recognize those who applied early, and to give you the time you wanted and to be with your friends.  However, we were not able to accommodate everyone.

The last of the confirmation emails will be sent today and letters to the homes of selected applicants will go out this week.  Contrary to our policy we will be sending an email to all those who did not get into the program informing those people as to how our waiting list will work.

Thanks again to everyone who applied – its going to be a great summer!

Who Are We?

Conservation Youth Corps (CYC) is a youth oriented volunteer program conducting environmental stewardship activities with high school classes and individuals in the Credit River watershed and surrounding areas.  CYC is a program of Credit Valley Conservation.

Check out our video for a better idea of what we do

“The symbolism – and the substantive significance – of planting a tree has universal power in every culture and every society on Earth; and it is a way for individual men, women and children to participate in creating solutions for the environmental crisis.”

Al Gore, 2007 Nobel Peace Prize Winner
