The Conservation Youth Corps Summer Volunteer Program is an amazing opportunity!
Here are a few reasons why you should apply:

To Be Eligible for the Program You:
- must be at least 14 years of age
- must have completed grade 9
- are planning to return to high school in the following September
Application Process:
There are two ways to apply:
- Online Application(our preferred option)
- Click the APPLY NOW button on this page and complete the application on line. (Please complete it fully in one attempt – if you’re unsure if you can complete it read the PDF version first to be sure you can answer all the questions)
- Print pages 3, 4 and 5 of the application (they will pop up to print after you complete the application). Complete page five (5) (you need your parents/guardians signature here!) and mail or fax it to CVC within one week of completing the online application.
- Important!! You must mail or fax us page five in order for you application to be considered complete.
- Paper Application
- You have either received a paper application from us or you can download one from our website.
- Give the whole application to your parents. Make sure that it is read fully and understood. There is a lot of valuable information in the first few pages that you should keep!
- Mail or fax us the last three pages (pages 5, 6 and 7) of the application.

- A parent or guardian has read and understood the Terms and Conditions and Volunteer Release Statements on pages 3 and 4
- A copy of page 5 has been printed and signed by a parent or guardian
- Page 5 of this application has been / is being mailed or faxed to CVC within one week of completing the on-line application. (Page 5 must be submitted in order for application to be deemed complete. Remember that incomplete applications will not be considered for placement).
Paper Applications:
- Are all the questions answered and required personal information provided?
- A parent or guardian has read, understood and signed the Terms and Conditions and Volunteer Release Statements on pages 3 and 4
- Pages 5, 6 and 7 have been mailed or faxed to CVC. (Applications must be filled out completely. Remember incomplete applications will not be considered for placement).
When Will You Find Out If You Are Accepted To The Program?
Apply early! Applications are considered on a first come, first served basis and also on our ability to form work-crews at various locations throughout the watershed. A notice will be posted on the website once the program is full and registration is closed. Successful applicants will be notified by email of their placement status by June 11, 2010. Applications not initially awarded placement will be added to the waitlist.
