This report characterizes existing conditions of the natural features and their functions within the LOISS study area. This characterization updates the summary provided in the Background Review with findings from studies undertaken to address the data gaps it identified.to the extent feasible (considering access to survey sites and funding limitations). This phase also included the development and implementation of an extensive Communications Strategy aimed at engaging the general public and key LOISS stakeholders.
