Winter Wonderland – Girl Guide Program – Cancelled
Credit Valley Conservation is now offering exciting badge programs for Brownies and Girl Guides throughout the year. Join us at Terra Cotta Conservation Area with other local units and participate in fun, hands-on programs that meet a variety of environmental badge requirements.
The best way to explore the forest in winter is by snowshoe. You can spot signs of wildlife everywhere when there is snow on the ground! Come learn the basics of snowshoeing while enjoying time with your unit. After snowshoeing, enjoy a campfire cookout lunch. Take time afterwards to continue exploring Terra Cotta on your own and try activities such as skating on Wolf Lake or cross country skiing. This program is intended for those who have never tried snowshoeing before, however all skill levels are welcome.
This program involves indoor and outdoor activities, starting at the Watershed Learning Centre. In the event of adverse weather conditions on the day of the events, call the hotline for a notice of cancellation at 905-670-1615 x 221.
Cancellations must be received 24 hours before the start of the event to process 100 percent refund, otherwise no refund can be made.
Badges are not provided. Bring your own lunch.
Safe Guide information is provided upon registration.
