Multicultural Outreach & Education Program

The Multicultural Outreach and Education Program provides opportunities for members of diverse cultural communities to learn about their local environment.
“Environment and Nature Week” is a flexible, week-long schedule of nature-based workshops, presentations, and outdoor events delivered by Credit Valley Conservation staff in partnership with a local institution or agency such as a library or community centre.
“Experience Nature” is a two-part education program for organized groups, such as English as a Second Language classes or cultural organizations, which includes an indoor presentation and outdoor nature experience in the community or a nearby Conservation Area.
- Programs are delivered and implemented with community-based organizations such as libraries, community centres, settlement agencies, religious organizations, cultural groups, and language instruction institutions.
- Programs are FREE but do not include the cost of buses (where applicable).
- For more information, or to discuss how to get involved, contact our Multicultural Outreach Program Coordinator at education@creditvalleyca.ca.
