Connect with Nature while Learning English Language Skills

We offer presentations that help adult English language learners understand local environmental issues. Presentations help students learn English vocabulary and improve comprehension and pronunciation.

Our environmental educators can come to your class or provide virtual presentations. We can also host your class for these presentations.

This presentation encourages participants to connect with nature and maintain social distancing during COVID. Learn about the mental and physical benefits of connecting with nature and discover news ways to appreciate nature close to home.

Experience Nature Tour

We can add an Experience Nature tour to any of our presentations for adult English language learners. Spend time in nature at Terra Cotta Conservation Area, guided by our environmental educators. We explore nature on ability-appropriate trails, and develop confidence in participants to explore nature on their own.
