Island Lake Conservation Area

Due to mild temperatures and unsafe shorelines ice fishing and skating areas are closed. The park will be open from 8 a.m.-3 p.m. for non ice related activities. We will reevaluate Friday afternoon and expect this is not the end of the season just yet. Trail conditions are currently muddy and bare with icy patches. Trail access parking areas are listed here: Trail surfaces are not cleared in the winter and proper footwear or winter equipment should be used.
