Winter Family Fun Day at Riverwood Park

On Feb. 18 from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m., Mississauga Councillor Ron Starr will be hosting his First Ward 6 Winter Family Fun Day at Riverwood Park, 4100 Riverwood Park Lane, Mississauga. This event, which is being held in association with the Riverwood Conservancy, Visual Arts Mississauga, EcoSource and Credit Valley Conservation, has a wide variety of activities for children, adults and families to enjoy.
Activities include nature walks led by the Riverwood Conservancy (featuring a chickadee feeding and a “fruit for birds” fruit stringing activity), a hands-on printmaking project for all ages by Visual Arts Mississauga, and a seed planting activity hosted by EcoSource for all those Mississauga residents with a green thumb.
