The following Fact Sheets provide proponents and reviewers with a step by step overview of the general study requirements for activities as they relate to fluvial geomorphology.

Fact Sheet I: pertains to hazard delineation of water courses in confined and unconfined systems to identify existing hazards and to limit hazard to future development and infrastructure.

Fact Sheet II: pertains to the application of geomorphology in the development of appropriate stormwater management plans to limit potential negative impacts from land use change.

Fact Sheet III: addresses geomorphological concerns in stream crossing location, sizing and design.

Fact Sheet IV: provides an overview of the geomorphological requirements associated with the planning process and development applications, which involves baseline data collection, identification of sensitive areas, delineation of hazards and support of stormwater management through the provision of erosion thresholds and target flows.

Fact Sheet V: outlines the application of geomorphology in the development of suitable natural channel designs.
