Lakeview Waterfront Connection

    Environmental Assessment

The Lakeview Waterfront Connection Project (LWC Project) Environmental Assessment (EA) is being undertaken by Credit Valley Conservation (CVC) and the Region of Peel (co-proponents), with the support of Toronto and Region Conservation Authority (TRCA) and the City of Mississauga.  Planning for the LWC Project is supported by recent City of Mississauga planning initiatives and spearheaded by active public support, which identify a strong desire for greater public access to the eastern Mississauga waterfront. The project aims to create a new natural waterfront park in the Lakeview neighbourhood (Inspiration Lakeview) to enhance degraded aquatic and terrestrial wildlife habitat and provide public access to the waterfront in an area that currently does not provide such opportunities.
